Our customer base ranges from the RF and broadcast industries to elevators and a research group at a major university. We pride ourselves with our customer service and working closely with our customer’s needs. We can build to print or help those customers that aren’t quite sure what the best options are for their application. We feel that as important as the functionality and design of the equipment is, the manufacturing details are also at the top of the list to give the customer what they need at a cost effective price. Many designers are not aware of the different manufacturing parameters that can add significant cost to their products. At SFM, we are not afraid to suggest a different approach if we see something that can make the product better or more cost effective.

Our state-of-the-art equipped shop allows us to quickly manufacture what our customers need. We have an extensive supply of raw material in inventory and a one day turn around on most other sizes that are required for the job. Using state of the art Gibbs CAM software we can work with most customer files and send many jobs to the machines helping with quick turn-around times. Our 7 HAAS machining centers are the heart of our business, turning out precise parts consistently. A variation of surface finishes and deburring are accomplished either by simple belt finishes or large parts tumbler. Depending on the customer needs, plating is accomplished by a local shop. Powder coating is typically accomplished in house. SFM utilizes our on-site laser for engraving the various labels and logos onto the parts.
